8th January 2009 Trades

Today I am trying to hold positions longer instead of quick1-2 point scalps. The first 2 trades didnt work out too well.
Trade 1 - I pulled my 10 point stop up to 6 points and took the loss, the 10 point stop would have held.
Trade 2 - I changed my mind on the market direction and sold the low! too hasty a trade.
Trade 3 - Pulled my stop up way too quick!! stopped out for 1 point instead of a good 15+ points.
Trade 4 - Pulled my stop up to above break even too early. Original stop would have held. Target was 2510.
Tarde 5 - At least I was persistent and tried again, this time it worked. Had to collect the kids from school so put in a limit order. Wonder if I would have been tempted to take profits earlier if I had been at the screen or would I have let it run further?
